Course Overview
The CISSP program is designed to provide information security professionals with a
comprehensive understanding of the eight domains of the (ISC)² Common Body of
Knowledge (CBK). These domains include:
1. Security and Risk Management: This domain covers the concepts of
confidentiality, integrity, and availability; security governance principles;
compliance laws and regulations; and security policies, standards,
procedures, and guidelines.
2. Asset Security: This domain covers the protection of information and assets
through asset identification and classification, ownership, data security
controls, and secure disposal of assets.
3. Security Architecture and Engineering: This domain covers the design,
implementation, and management of security controls and systems, including
access controls, cryptography, physical security, and telecommunications and
network security.
4. Communication and Network Security: This domain covers the design,
implementation, and management of network security controls, including
secure network architectures, secure communication channels, and network
components security.
5. Identity and Access Management (IAM): This domain covers the management
of user authentication, authorization, and accountability; identity and access
provisioning lifecycle; and implementation of identity and access management
frameworks.
6. Security Assessment and Testing: This domain covers the process of
assessing and testing security controls, including vulnerability assessments,
penetration testing, and code review.
7. Security Operations: This domain covers the management of security
operations, including incident management, disaster recovery, business
continuity, and monitoring and detection.
8. Software Development Security: This domain covers the application of
security principles and processes to software development, including secure
software design, implementation, and testing.
The CISSP examination is available in six languages (English, Chinese, German,
Korean, Japanese, Spanish) at 882 locations in 114 countries. All English CISSP
exams worldwide use CAT (Computer Adaptive Testing). Non-English CISSP exams
are administered as a linear, fixed-form exam. The number of items in the English
CAT exam will be between 125 and 175 and a maximum of 4 hours will be available
to complete it. Score of 700 out of 1,000 is the required for a pass.
Program Deliverables
- Online Self-Learning for 18 hours. Instructor-led video-based self-learning to learn at your pace of time over four months. 7-modules will be released each month.
- Live Expert Sessions On two scheduled dates, there will be an online live and interactive session with the author.
